Who should apply?
The MS-Tech program was designed to meet the management development needs of professionals working in a technology-focused industry. There are two primary groups of potential students: those with engineering, science, or technical undergraduate degrees; and those with direct experience in developing or managing technology.
Individuals particularly suited for the program include those who are
- involved
in designing and developing new products, software, and services;
- managing
the deployment of engineering and technology products;
- interested
in taking on more visible roles in project management;
- poised
to move into leadership roles in which the ability to combine
technical expertise with managerial vision is critical to success;
- recent graduates who are technically proficient or those professionals who have developed technical proficiency in their current position and would like to increase their opportunities for advancement by enhancing their managerial skills may also be qualified for the program.
The MS Tech program provides determined students with the education and degree to complement their existing experience. Each student’s background, prior work experience, personality, and unique skill set will determine success when searching for new opportunities. Because of today's tight economy, job searches in the US can be challenging and job seekers must expend extra effort to land a job. For international students, especially those with limited work experience, it can be increasingly so.
